General terms and conditions

Eurocaltech Calibration Policies

Eurocaltech is not committed to specific calibration until the instrument and procedure are reviewed.

Delays due to affiliates, lack of accessories, procedures, or parts are beyond Eurocaltech control.

Batteries, fuses, and lamps are charged separately and not included in calibration costs.

Customers are responsible for the removal, restoration, and programming of returned instruments.

Subcontracted calibrations are quoted in advance and require customer authorization.

Quoted calibration prices are subject to verification upon arrival.

Customers receive an automatic instrument due for calibration notice.

Customers must ensure the instruments calibrated by Eurocaltech are free of contamination.

For ISO/IEC 17025:2017-compliant calibration services, Eurocaltech provides uncertainties of measurement for all tests.

The price quoted is for calibration only; extra spares and hidden defects will be charged separately.

Calibration certifications do not include suggestions regarding the calibration interval.

The calibration due date must be specified if it appears on the calibration certificate and label.

A statement of conformance can only be included at client request.

The Eurocaltech Validated Calibration technique is based on many international standards, such as BS, ISO, IS, ASTM, ASME, DKD, OIML, and Euramet guidelines.

If calibration results go outside of the manufacturer's specifications, the instrument will be adjusted to bring results back within the parameters with the customer's approval.

If reference equipment is unavailable, Eurocaltech will subcontract the job through approved external vendors.

The customer must bring all necessary accessories with the instruments for calibration.

All client information will be kept confidential, unless required by law.

Information on the customer collected from sources other than the customer must be kept private between the customer and Eurocaltech.

Eurocaltech guarantees that if an instrument is found to be out of tolerance due to repair or calibration flaws within one month for electronic instruments and mechanical instruments,.

Any OEM-assisted instrument configuration changes may incur additional expenses.

On-Site Services

The customer must authorise Eurocaltech technicians to disconnect instruments and leads for calibration.

The customer must provide an environmentally controlled area with proper lighting, electrical service, and space for Eurocaltech standards and computers.

The customer must have instruments available or delivered promptly to expedite the calibration process.

Customers can modify their 'Due for Calibration' notice to meet their needs.

A travel charge per technician will be applied.

Cancellation on the day of an onsite visit will incur the minimum charge per visit and any applicable charges.

The customer should provide room and food if the calibration takes a long time. 

Eurocaltech repair policies

Lab and subcontracted repairs are quoted in advance and require customer authorization to proceed. All unapproved repairs are subject to an evaluation charge.

Eurocaltech's ability to calibrate an instrument does not imply its ability to align or repair it. Some manufacturers consider this process to be proprietary.

Delivery Schedule: subject to availability of spares

Product Supply

The manufacturer provides a limited warranty period of a few months, covering material defects from the date of shipment, depending on the manufacturer's warranty period.

Delivery and shipping

Eurocaltech provides pick-up and delivery services and customer instruments from the time they leave the customer’s premises until they are returned.

Eurocaltech requires documentation (packing list, purchase order, etc.) of instruments to be calibrated or repaired at the point of Eurocaltech receipt to satisfy the quality standards requirement for control of instrumentation and inventory.

Eurocaltech is not responsible for items such as leads, manuals, accessories, etc. that are not listed on the customer purchase order or packing list.

Eurocaltech is not responsible for instruments that arrive damaged due to improper packaging or handling if shipped via carrier.

The customer shall provide the Eurocaltech driver with a signature of receipt of instruments upon delivery. The driver will not release the instruments without a signature.

Quoted calibration prices do not include shipping charges. Eurocaltech is not responsible for any shipping, duties, fees, taxes, or customs charges.
